Terms and Conditions

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION:

All items can be delivered or collected the day before your event and returned or collected the day after, unless specified. Delivery and collection is free within a radius of 10 miles, after which a charge of 35p per mile will be made. Please note, for low value orders (under 50) a delivery and collection charge may be levied, depending on the distance involved.

PAYMENT:

A deposit of 15% of the value of your order will be taken at the point of the booking and full payment must be made 14 days prior to the event. The deposit will be held as an indemnity against breakages or loss and will be refunded after all items have been checked. Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cheque or Cash.

WASHING-UP SERVICE:

Washing-up is FREE. All we ask is that excess food be scraped away from the china and cutlery rinsed and stowed in the containers provided. Please take extra care with the china as the pieces are more delicate than everyday crockery. It is your responsibility to ensure your venue organisers are aware of this. Please do not place any items in a dishwasher.

LINEN:

Please ensure that all linen tablecloths and napkins are folded and free of crumbs etc.

CANCELLATION:

The customer will lose their 15% deposit in the event of cancelling within 15 days of the event.

LIABILITY:

In the event of any injury or damage, however caused Carol's Vintage China Hire accepts no responsibility.
